Meet Baby Eva

A few weeks ago I made another trip up to the Bay Area to photograph a beautiful baby girl.  She was just 10 days old when we met but she was the perfect little model.  Her mom and I had lots of fun dressing her up and just playing.

Eva is the second daughter to one of my best and oldest friends (33 years of friendship).  So this was extra special.  Not to mention Eva's big sis is my God daughter.

It was a whirlwind weekend but so much fun!  I cannot wait to watch both of them grow up to be beautiful and successful young women.

Catching up...3 in 1

I feel as though I have been on a  speed train.  I have so much to talk about and have not been able to do it yet.  So let's play catch up on some photo sessions I have done.

A few weeks back I flew up to Nor Cal to meet with 3 different families to do a  whirlwind weekend of photo sessions.

It was crazy but a lot of fun.  I got to spend time with my girl friends and drink some wine and also see my God daughter (who will be a big sister in T minus 6 days) and her mama for a night.  So much fun!!

I started off with Baby Dax (3 months).  It was a bit crazy and we kinda ran out fo time but his smile will suck you in and not let you go.  He is just such a  happy little guy you cannot help but smile when you are with him.

Then it was off to Heather Farms Park in Walnut Creek for some family shots.  I met Lindsay, her husband and their daughter Leila and we just walked around to find all the cool spots.  Then we played at the playground.  There are fabulous playgrounds, ducks all over (watch where you step), and a gorgeous rose garden.

  

After two shoots back to back I was ready for some down time.  Some girlfriends came out and we all went back to Amiee's house for some wine and chit chat.  It was just lovely.

Sunday it was back to work.

I met Julie and her family back at Heather Farms.  They were so much fun.  We were in the zone.

 

 

It was a busy weekend but so much fun.  thanks Ame for setting everything up and being my "touch-point"

Then it was back to the airport and back down to San Diego.  Whoa, what a weekend.

Sweet little lips...

About a week ago I flew up to Northern California for a newborn shoot.  Baby G was born about 4 weeks ago and is just a perfect little boy. His lips are just so perfect and sweet.

 Newborns sleep a lot right? especially after eating?  well not Baby G he was awake for the first hour an a half of the shoot.  We fed him and wrapped him up tight and even had the room temp to about 78 degrees.  We were all sweating, but Baby G was happier than...well you know.

Nevertheless, he was a perfect little model.  No crying or anything.  I can not wait to photograph him again.  Here are a few from our session.

He is just so precious.  Congratulations Mommy and Daddy...job well done!  Thank you for letting me be the first to capture your son on film.

Northern California (part deux)...

Again, in between storms and probably one of these foggiest days I was up in the Bay Area.  I met Samantha and her family at a lovely spot.  The grounds are phenomenal.  So we went on a quick adventure since daddy was late (went to wrong spot...not entirely his fault... lol) and he had to get back to work.  We hustled and bustled because we were all cold, not to mention my son was with some friends and not very happy about it.  So it was pure craziness all the way around.  Nevertheless, I think we got some beautiful shots.

What a happy and fun little family.  I had so much fun despite the craziness.  Thank you for letting me capture your family despite all the chaos.  :)  Your CD will be on its way soon.

In between the storms with four generations...

While I was in Northern California for the holiday, I had the opportunity to do a few photo-shoots.  It was rainy and cold  almost the entire 2 weeks.  I can't complain too much, Mother Nature did cooperate on the days I was scheduled to shoot.  In fact on this particular day it stopped raining long enough for us to play and take some memorable shots.  As soon as we called it a wrap, it started to sprinkle.  Phew we made it!!

In this shoot I had a large family picture as well as micro family shoots.  What a fun family.  We moved quickly not only to avoid rain but also so they could get home and open presents and have their holiday dinner.  Here is your sneak peak Alison, Jody and Lisa.  Enjoy!

Northern California...

I grew up in Northern California, as you know, and make trips up a few times a year.  This last time I took a few pictures of a friends family.  It was a lil spur of the moment, but worked out nice.

I have a few more set for around the holidays.  I will take any excuse to go home and visit, especially if it is to take some portraits.
