Ron, Eric, and Baby Matthew

I can not believe it has almost been a year.  In just a few days Matthew will be turning 1.  What is his favorite thing to do?  Walk!  He is ready to go.  Just a quick grab of your hand and he is off.  I am not sure it is called walking when even the adult (aka spotter) is at a slight jogging pace to keep up with him.  He is so cute and such a sweet little boy. 

I had the pleasure of taking his pictures, as well as his mummy and daddy, last weekend.  He was looking sharp and ready with his big grin.

We walked around Balboa Park on a sunny Sunday morning.  The weather was beautiful, of course, we are in San Diego.

Thankful...

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  It was my first year cooking a turkey; it was a lot of fun.  I think it actually turned out pretty good.  Thanks Ant for the tips. :)

I am thankful for so many things, but one of the biggest is the awesome friends I have here in San Diego.  I had the opportunity to photograph some of our great friends this past weekend.  They have a beautiful family.  Their two daughters are like my sons older sisters.  They all have so much fun together, it is very cute.  Here is a sneak peak from the shoot.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Balboa Park

This weekend was the Breast Cancer Three Day walk.  It ended on Sunday with all the walkers walking their last stretch of their long by journey Balboa Park.  It was amazing to see all these people taking on this incredible journey to help fight Breast Cancer. 

I happened to be in Balboa Park on Sunday photographing some lovely families.  It was a lovely day the weather was perfect, of course.

Michelle and her lovely family drove down from Los Angeles to have their family pictures done.  It was a lot of fun.  We explored lots of secret gardens.  Here are some sneak peaks of the pictures. 

 

 

 

After we finished shooting we made our way over to the SDMA Cafe for some lunch.  If you have never eaten there, try it, it is fabulous.  I was talking to Aidan, Michelle's son.  Some how we got on the topic of Brittney Spears.  He told me that he thought she was ugly and didn't understand what the big fuss about her was.  I can understand that.  So I asked him, "who do you think is pretty?"  And with out skipping a beat he said, "MY MOM."  It was so sweet.  Unprompted, his mom wasn't even around. 

I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving.  This year I am thankful for my family and our health and all the wonderful opportunities that have been thrown our way this year.  What are you thankful for?
